Create a Performance Monitoring Job in Windows “PerfMon”

Recommended Performance Counters are:

  • \LogicalDisk(_Total)\Current Disk Queue Length
  • \LogicalDisk(_Total)\Disk Read Bytes/sec
  • \LogicalDisk(_Total)\Disk Write Bytes/sec
  • \Memory\% Committed Bytes In Use
  • \Memory\Available MBytes
  • \Process(_Total)\% Processor Time
  • \Process(LogixScheduleService)\% Processor Time
  • \Process(redis-server)\% Processor Time
  • \Process(sqlservr)\% Processor Time
  • \Process(w3wp)\% Processor Time
  • \Process(_Total)\Private Bytes
  • \Process(LogixScheduleService)\Private Bytes
  • \Process(redis-server)\Private Bytes
  • \Process(sqlservr)\Private Bytes
  • \Process(w3wp)\Private Bytes
  • \Processor Information(_Total)\% Processor Time
  • \Processor Information(_Total)\% Processor Utility

Create Dataset from CSV as described in the manual

Set Dataset to cache to a Datamart Table as described here

Create another dataset to pull the data from cache table. Use SQL to convert strings to Dates and Bytes to GB.

Create a Nathean Analytics view grouped by PerfDate. Use “Max” to create group summaries on each metric.
