From within Power BI you need to create a query with maps to the Nathean Analytics dataset you want to use. You do this by pressing the Get Data button on the tool bar.

A dialog appears and you can type “Nathean” in the search box. You should see the following:

Press the Connect button and you are presented with the following dialog.

You must provide the details from your own Nathean Analytics instance:
Nathean URL is the base URL of the Nathean Analytics instance.

System Code is the unique code for the tenant within the Nathean Analytics instance.

Press “Ok” to continue.

You may be asked to logon (if you have not logged on to this Nathean Analytics instance and system code pair from Power BI on this computer before.

You then presented with a list of dataset views from which you can selected the preferred data.

You are then shown a preview of the data returned from the Nathean Analytics instance. Press Load to save the query.

You will then see the query in the in query editor. It is a good idea to name the query at this point.

  • The current data connector does not support sending of parameters so the saved views parameters are used.
