Display Masks allows a format to be provided which numeric or date fields should follow when displaying their contents in Nathean Analytics.
NUMERIC DISPLAY MASKS
|0||Displays unformatted numbers|
|0,||Displays numbers with comma-separated thousands|
|£0||Displays numbers preceded with the “£” symbol specified.|
|0.00||Displays numbers to two levels of decimal place (add zeros for more places)|
|0.00;(0.00)||Display numbers to two decimal places, showing negative values in brackets|
These elements can be combined e.g. a Display mask of “€0,.00” would display the values as Euro currency, with comma-separated thousands and two decimal places.
Numeric values can be expressed as thousands, millions etc by adding the following divisors to the end of the display mask e.g. “0.00 /M” would show the value in millions with 2 decimal places.
DATE / TIME DISPLAY MASKS
|dd/MM/yyyy||Displays a date in European format ignoring time.|
|MM/dd/yyyy||Displays a date in US format ignoring time.|
|d||Will display the day of the month, from 1 through 31.|
|dd||Will display the day of the month from 01 through 31.|
|ddd||Will display the abbreviated name of the day of the week.|
|dddd||Will display the full name of the day of the week.|
|M||Will display the month, from 1 through 12.|
|MM||Will display the month, from 01 through 12.|
|MMM||Will display the abbreviated name of the month.|
|MMMM||Will display the full name of the month.|
|yy||Will display the last two digits of the year|

Again, these can be combined so “MMM – yyyy” would display the 15th of January 2020 as “Jan – 2020”
