SqlServer User

You need to create a DB user that the Product uses to sign onto the DB
In SSMS, while connected to the Instance you deployed the DB to, expand Security, Logins.
Right-Click Logins and choose “New Login”.
Enter a user as shown. E.g. “LogixEco”

Next you need to add that user to the Nathean Analytics DB you restored earlier. Note that if you restored a backup from a previous site, there will most likely be a couple of users already under the DB. You can delete them because they won’t be recognised on this new server. Only delete users that look like they were created for Nathean Analytics. (LogixEco & Xclient would be most common.)

Right-click Users and pick “New User”. Add the “LogixEco” user:

Before clicking OK, set the “Membership” of the user to “DB Owner”:

Click ok.

Do the same with the LOGIX_AUDIT DB

Windows Local User or IIS User Permissions

(If you wish to use the IIS User to authenticate the website, add the user “IUSR” to the folder permissions.)

You need to add a local user and enable some permissions for them to access the LogixEco folder etc.

Search for “Local User” in Windows Start and you’ll see “Edit Local Users and Groups”
Go to “Users” – Right Click and Add new user.
Set and make a note of their password.
Set to “not expire”

Grant Write Permission on .NET Directory

Open Windows Explorer at C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319
Right Click “Temporary ASP.NET files” and click Properties
Go to Security Tab and click Edit
Click Add. Change “Locations” to be the local server. It will be top one in list with PC icon. Click OK
Type “LogixEco” and click Check names. It should find the LogixEco user and underline it.
Check the “Modify” checkbox in the Permissions list and click Apply. Click “Yes” if prompted
